The files for the Virtual Machine setup for the “Principles of Computer Security: CompTIA Security+ and Beyond Lab Manual, Second Edition,” are now located on the Online Learning Center that supports the textbook “Principles of Computer Security: CompTIA Security+ and Beyond, Third Edition (Exam SY0-301).” The site also hosts the solution files for the Lab Manual, Second Edition.

Please visit http://www.PrinciplesSecurity3e.com to gain access to the Online Learning Center (OLC). There you will find all files and download instructions necessary to run the machines used in the labs.

If you need log-in information for the Online Learning Center, please contact your McGraw-Hill sales representative through: http://www.MHHE.com/.

Once logged on as an instructor on the OLC, select the “Lab Manual Solutions” link under “Instructor Resources” on the left side of the page.

At the bottom of this page you will see a section titled “VM Download” with a download link and instructions.

The hosting for Securitylabmanual had to change and unfortunately, not all the files were setup on the new hosting facility. Also, the setup document has been on the new hosting for some time but was not very visible.
The attack file system is not current up on this host but should be added soon.
